Let me introduce myself. I am Ivanova Olga. I'm from Donetsk.. 1 was born on the 16-th of May ~m 1980. Now I am 20 years old. In 1997 I left-tee-secondary school No. 13 in my native city.

I did quite a lot of subjects at school but my favourite subject was Mathematics. It is easy for me to solve different problems in Maths, that's why I made up my mind to enter the University of Donetsk. I put in an application to it. After passing my entrance examinations I was not admitted because I didn't get excellent marks. Then I had to work but I decided to try again next year.

In 1998 I took my entrance exams for the second time. After passing my exams successfully I was admitted.

Now I am a first-year student of the correspondence department of the faculty of Mathematics. I combine my work with my studies.

As to my family, it is not large. We are four: my parents, my sister and myself. I am not married yet and have no family of my own. Let me also tell you a few words about my studies. The course for University students lasts 5 years for full-time students and 6 years for part-time and correspondence students. It doesn't differ essentially in the subjects taught, but it differs in the system in which studies are organized. The basic form of studies for correspondence students is independent work at home.

I am going to specialize in pure (abstract) mathematics. I like Mathematics very much. After graduating from the University I'd like to become a teacher of mathematics at school.
